The B.Sc. in chemistry provides a solid background in this discipline, and leads directly to eligibility as a member of the Ordre des chimistes du Québec . It includes obligatory courses in each chemistry sub-discipline (analytical, inorganic, organic, physical) as well as elective courses in the following concentrations : pharmaceutical and bioorganic chemistry, bioanalytical and environmental chemistry, chemistry of materials and biomaterials, computer-assisted chemistry, and general chemistry.

Our chemistry department is one of the largest in Canada and enjoys an international reputation for the quality of its infrastructure and research, in which undergraduates have opportunities to participate.
